This form takes just a few minutes and is divided into four short steps. You must finish each step before moving on.

Step 3: How You’d Like to Participate

You can choose one or more of the following ways to participate:

Receive email updates about new posts and important City issues
Join our Public Trust Partners community and take part in discussions with your neighbors
Comment on articles throughout the site using your PEN Name
Volunteer to help build the website or develop its content
Help with administrative tasks

About PEN Names

We urge everyone to register with an anonymous PEN name so you can speak freely. We ask for additional information only to verify that each PEN name represents a real person. Once verified, your real name and PEN name will be kept in separate lists.

Volunteering

Volunteers are especially welcome. We can use whatever time you can give. If you have WordPress skills or would like to help with the online community, your contribution would be especially valuable.

We also welcome your insights, suggestions, ideas for stories, whistleblowing, and recommendations for ethical leaders we can highlight and celebrate.

Participation and Access

Everyone can read the site without registering. If you want to comment, join discussions, volunteer, or add your name publicly, you must become a member of the Public Trust Now community.

We encourage everyone to read the Community Standards that guide our discussions.

This form helps you choose the level of participation that is right for you.
